1. Definitions

To help you understand the technical terms used in this Policy, we have defined them as follows:

To better understand the operation of our products and services and to ensure security, when you submit feedback within Kocard, we may collect the following information to accurately understand and screen the issues you encounter: Log files, device model, and operating system version.

2.3 App Permissions
We require certain system permissions involving personal privacy to ensure specific functions within the app operate correctly. We will request your authorization when you use these functions. We will only access your personal information after obtaining your explicit consent. If you do not need to use these functions, you may refuse authorization. If you never use these functions, we will not request permissions or access your personal information.

5.1 Retention Period
We will continue to store your personal information while you use this platform. The retention period will not exceed the time necessary to provide you with services. After you terminate the use of this platform or revoke authorization, we will delete or anonymize your information, except where laws and regulations stipulate otherwise for specific information retention periods.

If we cease operations due to poor management or other reasons, we will immediately stop collecting your personal information and delete the personal information already collected.

  1. Kocard will not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information to any unrelated third party unless we have obtained your prior permission, or the third party and Kocard (including Kocard affiliates) provide services to you individually or jointly, and upon the conclusion of such service, they will be prohibited from accessing all such data they were previously able to access.

  2. Kocard does not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell, or disseminate your personal information by any means. If any Kocard platform user engages in the above activities, upon discovery, Kocard has the right to immediately terminate the service agreement with that user.

  3. For the purpose of serving users, Kocard may use your personal information to provide you with information you may be interested in, including but not limited to sending you product and service information, or sharing information with Kocard partners so they can send you information about their products and services (the latter requires your prior consent).

5.3 Google User Data Policy
Our application accesses certain Google user data via the Google Drive API. The specific usage and protection measures are as follows:

  • Access Scope: We request the drive.file permission. This permission strictly allows users to select specific folders within Google Drive and upload files to those selected folders only. We do not access, read, or store other files or metadata in your Google Drive.

  • Use of Data: Data obtained from Google Drive is used solely for the purpose of uploading files to the folder explicitly selected by the user. We will not use this data for any other purpose, nor will we share it with any third parties.

  • Retention and Deletion:

    • We do not permanently store any Google user data on our servers.

    • Uploaded files are stored only in the user's own Google Drive account and remain under the user's control.

    • If a user disconnects their Google account or requests deletion, we will immediately revoke all access tokens and retain no Google user data.

6. How We Protect Your Information

The security of your personal information is crucial to us. We strict comply with relevant laws and regulations and take reasonable and feasible measures recognized by the industry to protect your personal information to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss.

  1. Kocard accounts have security protection functions. Please keep your username and password information safe. Kocard will ensure your information is not lost, abused, or altered through security measures such as encrypting user passwords. Despite these security measures, please note that there are no "perfect security measures" on the internet.

  2. We safeguard system security from multiple dimensions, including organizational construction, system design, personnel management, and product technology. We ensure that only authorized personnel can access your personal information and conduct security audits on data and technology in a timely manner.

  3. We take reasonable and feasible measures to avoid collecting irrelevant personal information. We will only retain your personal information for the period required to achieve the purposes stated in this Policy (unless the law has mandatory retention requirements).

  4. The internet is not an absolutely secure environment. We strongly suggest you use secure systems and communication networks when accessing services. Please note that information you voluntarily share or publicly share when using our services may involve personal information about you or others. Even if you delete shared information, relevant information may still be independently copied or stored by other users or unrelated third parties not under our control before you delete it.
